How to buy SMS units for your Sematime account

It is inevitable that at some point you will need to load your account with more SMS units. While the 100 free SMS units you get at registration are enough to test and familiarize yourself with Sematime Messaging, they certainly won't be enough to send messages to hundreds of parents in a school.

Sematime offers both on-demand pricing plan where you only pay for what you need or the 'unlimited SMS subscription' plan where you pay KES 50 per student per year and get to send as many messages as you need for the rest of the 12 month period. Here is how to purchase the unlimited SMS subscription.

Start by clicking the 'Buy Sms' button one the account balance bar as highlighted below. On the 'Sms Topup' window shown enter the number of units you want then click the 'Topup' button. You can also pick any of our 'volume-discount bundles' to get a better deal on your purchase.

You will be taken to another page to complete the payment process. We have a number of payment options available so pick your choice and follow the instructions given.

After payment, you will receive a text message and an email confirming that your topup was successful together with your new account balance.
