How to generate, print & download CBC formative assessment reports

Generating PDF or Microsoft Word formative assessment reports is where Sematime Academics really excels at. What would literally take hours to compile - we can do it in 5 minutes for a school of 1,000+ students. To get started, go to the ' Reports' view section of your account and then choose the report you want us to generate for you.

Student summary report
It shows how a student has performed across the different subjects, a grades distribution chart and a summary of his or her performance for each topic or strand they were assessed on.

To create a new report, simply enter the student's name or admission number in the 'Search student report' text box and select the class whose report you want to generate. Find below, a sample of the PDF report. Use the '**Download**' option to get the report in Microsoft Word format.

Student subject performance report
This is a detailed subject-specific report showing how the student performed on the subject chosen for each assessment done. The data captured in this report is similar to what you would have in the physical assessment books that teachers fill in manually.

You begin by specifying the student whose report you want by entering their student's name or admission number in the ' Search student report' text box. Then select the subject of interest as shown by the red box above. Here is a sample of the report.

Class summary report
Like the 'student summary report' only that it shows an overview report of all the students contained in a class. It is very essential, especially for the school administration, as it provides a bird's eye view of how different classes are doing overall.

To begin, simply choose the class whose report you wish to generate. The system will do so in seconds and present you with a report to print(in PDF) or download(in Microsoft Word). Here is a sample of the report.

Class subject performance report
This report gives a detailed deep-dive into how all the students in a class performed for the subject chosen. It also lets you see which strands students did well in and which ones need to be improved on. Thirdly, you can view the grades distribution across all the assessments done.

To generate this report begin by choosing the class and subject whose report you want as shown in the image above. See the sample below for reference.
